The Saskatchewan provincial election is scheduled for April 4, 2016 and the Manitoba provincial election is scheduled for April 19, 2016.
PSAC Area Councils have already begun planning mobilization efforts and actions around provincial elections. To get involved, please contact the PSAC regional office closest to you to be added to the e-mail list and find out about upcoming meetings.

An invitation to active Union Stewards: The PSAC Prairie region will be hosting a series of 1-day “Building the Union through Steward’s Work” events that include an evening meeting to develop the Prairies 2016-2018 Regional Education Plan.

With the federal election only a few days away, PSAC members and Canadians from coast to coast to coast are thinking seriously about heading to the polls, if they haven’t voted already.
In Westman, PSAC members are helping giving local folks that extra push to the polls. In Brandon, PSAC-sponsored election coffee sleeves are hugging the take-out orders at coffee shops across the city.

This 3 hour workshop is targeted to Local executive members and activists. The goal of the course is to assist these members in having important one on one conversations with in their members and communities on key election topics.
By the end of the workshop participants will know the key issues that Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Canadian Labour Congress have identified for the 2015 federal election campaign; feel more confident in having political conversation with members and be able to make strategic choices about political conversations.
