The Southern Saskatchewan region includes members in Regina and surrounding areas who serviced out of the Regina Regional Office, responsible for nearly 1,800 members.

Late on Friday, September 6th, our PSAC bargaining team for members working at Casino Regina reached a tentative agreement with the employer.   No details will be announced until after a ratification vote to be conducted in early October.   As such, the rally scheduled for noon on Monday, September 9th is cancelled.

For the first time, resolutions will be discussed, debated and voted on at the 2019 Prairies Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members and then subsequently submitted to the appropriate bodies, including the upcoming National Equity Conference in 2020. The resolutions should be aimed at helping to achieve National Board of Directors (NBOD) priorities of strengthening and improving the Union’s work with Racially Visible members including advancing our own objectives.  All PSAC constitutionally recognized bodies and union structures will be entitled to forward resolutions to the 2019 PSAC Prairies Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members.
