Greetings from the President of the Edmonton Area Council;
The Prairie Region Triennial Convention is only four months away. With Convention deadlines fast approaching, a Meeting of the Edmonton Area Council will be held at the Regional Office on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 5:30 p.m.
The Prairie Region Triennial Convention is only four months away. With Convention deadlines fast approaching, a Meeting of the Edmonton Area Council will be held at the Regional Office on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 5:30 p.m.
At this meeting, the Edmonton Area Council will hold an Election for the Prairie Region Council (PRC) Area Council Representative and an alternate as per Section 11, Sub-Section (6) of the PSAC Prairie Region By-Laws. (see attached)

Section 11, (6) (e)
The newly elected PRC Area Council Representative shall be the Area Council delegate to the Prairie Region Triennial Convention and be sworn in and take office at the end of the Prairie Region Triennial Convention. Save and except where the Area Council Representative is re-elected, then the delegate entitlement follows Section 10, Sub-Section (6) of the Prairie Region By-Laws.
Resolution Submissions for Convention should also be brought to the meeting for discussion. They will be reviewed at the next regular Area Council meeting, and compiled as one package prior to the March 5 submission deadline.
A meeting agenda will be sent out next week. If you have any addition agenda items please let me know.
