Member-led social media initiatives

The PSAC 16th Triennial Convention will take place in Ottawa from April 29 to May 4, 2012, when hundreds of members from across the country will come together to debate resolutions that will shape the future of our union.

There is also a group of grassroots PSAC members who are using social media to bring together members from coast to coast to coast, and engage in a constructive dialogue about important issues. This is an opportunity for members to share experiences, voice concerns and connect with each other.

Visit the following Facebok pages to participate in this inventive initiative by members, for members:

  • PSAC 16th NTC issues/ AFPC 16e CNT enjeux - a venue for members to discuss issues concerning the 16th National Triennial Convention, including discussion of any candidate seeking election at the 16th NTC.
  • PSAC Grassroots / AFPC Populaires - PSAC grassroots members, organisers and rank in file, exercising their democratic right to speak and advocating for respect for the labour of all of our members.
  • Political Issues - A forum originally launched to discuss issues of the 2011 federal election, but remains a space to discuss any political issues, including federal and provincial.
  • PSAC Young Workers United! - A place to discuss achievements and activities by young workers in their workplaces, locals and communities.
