Updates re Bargaining:
Louise related that there are no new bargaining updates to report and will relay any new info as it is received. She reinforced PSAC’s three priorities and indicate that we should not just focus on sick leave bur on non concession bargaining. She also reinforced the activities surrounding the 19th of every month and mentioned the Together for Healthy Workplaces Campaign.
Round Table: discussion took place in regard to Together for Healthy Workplaces. Locals in Prince Albert will be doing different things and will also participate in any central activities planned. Louise mentioned that a member from the bargaining team will be available for a town hall meeting on May 4th, either via phone or on site. Tim Hogan asked Shannon Blum to assist in completing the budget in order to get it finalized by the deadline.
