Presentation by Verl Mastin, assistant director.
- Interval house has been in operation for 40 years
- 1st shelter in Canada
- Accommodates five to 10 families, 30 – 34 people
- Communal living
- Usual 30 days maximum, but can be extended due to circumstances
- Clients receive counselling, assistance in finding housing, financial aid and family services
- There usually is a waitlist
- There are currently 13 shelters in Saskatchewan and four second stage housing
- Affiliated with Adelle House – second 2nd stage
- 12 apartments that families can stay at for 1 year, counselling/family services continues

- Andrè Cote in charge of the childcare campaign
- Additional funding has been allotted to revamp the campaign
- Event – “Childcare 2020”
- Regional reps plus 1
- Active members
- Apply by next week, tba once reviewed at the leadership summit
- November 13 – 15 in Winnipeg
- Steven Lewis to be the guest speaker

- Sponsoring $200, PSAC logo attend to poster
- Martha will send another reminder the week before and link to the poster
- Nancy to hold lunch and learn at CRA

- Travelodge, October 18, 2014, 5pm cocktails, 6pm dinner
- $80 per person with a $40 tax receipt
- Confirmed if purchase of table they will charge for 7 persons instead of 8
- SRWC considering sharing table with Area Counsel or sending 2 persons each

- Will be reviewing evaluations and deciding if they will continue with the national conference
- Mariam Abu, was PSAC HR portfolio, now working for CLL and HR in process of hiring for her position
