The conference will take place on June 11 and 12 in Winnipeg. As sisters gather from across the Prairies, our objective is to have conference participants reach out and involve other members to build our women's committees and mobilize to contribute collectively for social change.
Workshops are currently being developed that will educate participants on strategies to better protect and support sisters who are victims of domestic violence; identify the union's role in advancing the PSAC Pan-Canadian campaign on childcare and promote greater security and human rights protections for Aboriginal women.
