Tuesday, Feb 28th 5:30 p.m. at the PSAC Edmonton Regional Office Suite 670, 10665 Jasper Avenue

We need members who want to work on activities that affect women, build on our strengths in the PSAC and develop partnerships with community organizations committed to issues affecting Women.
Our mandate is to Inform and Educate MOBILIZE-SUPPORT-EMPOWER JOIN US TO LEARN AND GROW

a.    Patty: Correct Minutes from Dec. 8th    
b.    All: Post mortem questions: fill out
c.    Kim/Nina: Kim to summarize evaluation forms from Women’s Seminar and bring to next meeting
d.    Kim/Nina: Thank you cards. Kim inserting pics and bring to next meeting
e.    Patty: Update on garden project with Spruce Avenue
f.    Charmaine: Start FB page for RWC
g.    Charmaine and Kim H: Prepare the 2017 Planned Budget for the Feb 11th meeting to share and discuss with committee. Update: done for Feb. 28th meeting.
h.    Patty: Volunteering at Women’s Shelters/Share what Jan said
i.    Patty: IWD contest 
j.    Nina: Confirm if there is a budget for LWOP in another forum.

5.    New business: 
•    Put message on thank you cards, address and mail.
6.    Discuss Events and Campaigns for 2017: Fifty Years; Women Helping Women. 
•    Contest: 15 mins with Robyn Benson: contest to happen right away, meeting with Sister Benson when her schedule allows it
•    One-day Child Care event (Sept): community speakers (politicians) perhaps children entertaining etc.
•    Day of remembrance (Dec): collaborate with UNIFOR women’s committee.
•    Campaign: grocery cards for women in shelters, vol. opportunities in shelters.
•    School supplies $400 for Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation School
