1. Call to Order : James called the meeting to order @ 5:45 pm
2. Approval of the Agenda: Committee all agreed to approve the Agenda
3. Review and approval of the previous meeting’s agenda: Yes approval of previous meetings agreed by all. However, some small corrections to Kim Haynes name is all that is required.
4. Follow up on previous business
a. Signing Authority: Kim Cardinal is going to the bank in Edmonton City Centre on February 24, 2017 to update her locals signing authority. Kim Haynes will call Servus Credit Union at the Edmonton City Centre to ensure that Kim C can go in with the bank statement and fill out the applicable forms to get her added to signing delegation.
b. Monthly Financial Update: Committee has $6003.23 in the bank.
5. New business
a. Election for delegate to PSAC Prairies Regional Convention 2017: James Somers delegated. Deemed by default.
b. Welcome to the new year – Brainstorm events/activities 2017: Kim C suggested to the committee to have Heather Poitras come in and help us make a “talking stick” and how it works. Committee liked the idea and has suggested we bring this up to the other committees on the upcoming Feb 11, 2017 meeting. Kim H also suggested that this committee covers any costs for all the committees that agree to participate, all agreed. Karoline will provide the committee a list of activities and the dates, this list will assist on what we can do around the those dates and such, a list of events/activities/ideas are below and to be added to on Feb 11th meeting:

6. Varia.
a. PSAC Campaign Updates
i. Asbestos: Karoline discussed the Asbestos campaign. There are postcards that locals can hand out to their members. This is for Awareness and to strengthen the campaign. Committee will take the postcards on the Feb 11th meeting for their members and hand them out at their upcoming AGM’s. Karoline also noted that there is a mandate for committees to assist in campaigns; this also will be discussed further on Feb 11th, 2017 meeting with all committees.
7. Round Table: James – We need people to join this committee.

8. Adjournment of Meeting: Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 pm. Next meeting will be on March 2, 2017
