Saskatoon Pride Celebrations and Events are being held daily during the week of June 7 - 13th The 15th Annual Pride Parade is Saturday, June 13th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Please see details on the Saskatoon Pride site (attached) & encourage your members, families and friends to attend and show their support!

Canada’s Senate is about to take a decision on whether to extend important human rights protections to Canada’s transgender communities. On Thursday, November 20, Trans Day of Remembrance, please take 5 minutes to voice your support for this legislation by phoning at least one member of the Senate Committee which will soon decide this legislation’s fate!

PSAC members have been out in full force at LGBTQ pride celebrations across Canada this summer.

PSAC sent members from across the country to participate in WorldPride 2014 events in Toronto and represent our union. Prairies members joined the PSAC delegation and participated in the WorldPride Human Rights Conference (June 25-27) and WorldPride Parade (June 29).

From June 25-29, Toronto will be hosting the WorldPride Human Rights Conference and PSAC members will be there. The conference will bring together GLBT activists from around the world, including many from countries where homosexuality is punishable by life in prison.

PSAC is a proud supporter of LGBT rights in the workplace and across Canada. In this video, PSAC members discuss the evolution of human rights in the workplace and their own personal experiences.Timothy Hunt, GLBT Representative on PSAC's Prairie Region Council, is one of the PSAC members featured in the video. He speaks about his experience with harassment in the workplace because of his sexuality. The resulting grievance process and his experiences since have taught him a lot, and that's knowledge he wants to share with others.
