The Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL) will be holding its Convention at the
Calgary Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, AB, from April 15th to 19th, 2015. As you
are aware, the AFL does valuable work on behalf of all union members in Alberta and we
have benefited from our close affiliation with this organization.
As PSAC Locals and Branches, affiliated to the AFL, I would encourage you to attend.
Registration is $495.00. Credentials must be received by the AFL no later than March 2,
2015.
For those who do gain delegate status through their Local or Branch, please contact
Alison Davis or at (204) 956-4625 by March 20, 2015, as a partial
subsidy may be available up to the cost of registration and is available to Locals who do
not receive full funding from their Component.
By attending convention, you have the opportunity to have your member’s voice’s
heard, exercise your locals’ rights and contribute to the labour movement in Alberta.
