  Basic Health & Safety Committee Training:    Participants will learn about the roles and responsibilities of workers, employers and unions, and discover the important events in the union’s struggle for health and safety in our workplaces. We will explore ways that PSAC members can exercise their health and safety rights and make plans to bring ideas and information back to the Local Union at the Workplace.

This course is for PSAC women members who: • live and work in the Prairie region; • have completed the TUB (Talking Union Basics) course or have gained equivalent experience through being an active PSAC member; • would like to learn about issues facing women; • want to have a more active role in their union. • are ready to work with other women to build a stronger union. This fall we will hold three NAPC courses for Aboriginal, Inuit and Métis members—one in Alberta (November 26-27), one in Saskatchewan (December 10-11) and one in Manitoba (December 4-5).
