This one-day course will assist members to write clear and meaningful resolutions. It will also identify how to follow the appropriate process for submitting resolutions through locals or other union bodies. Discussions on how to develop long-term strategies for obtaining support for the resolutions will also take place. Application deadline is November 18, 2016 CLICK 'NEXT' TO BEGIN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. This fall we will hold three NAPC courses for Aboriginal, Inuit and Métis members—one in Alberta (November 26-27), one in Saskatchewan (December 10-11) and one in Manitoba (December 4-5). This two-day course is for First Nation, Inuit and Métis members who have had little or no exposure to their union and would like to learn more about it.

During the strike preparation course we will cover: What is a strike? Picketing, Strike Structure, Problem solving during strikes? This course is open to UTE members only at this time. This brand new, two-day advanced course will provide information and better enforcement tools to PSAC Locals, and Health and Safety Committees on the Canada Labour Code Part II requirements on violence prevention as well as its applicable regulations.
