The Community Unemployed Help Centre (CUHC) presents the Aspiring Advocates Workshop. There are two dates to choose from for this special, full-day workshop, September 18 (currently full and taking names for the waiting list) and September 26 (there are a few seats still available). Due to the overwhelming popularity of this workshop, we encourage interested members to register as soon as possible. The poster and application can be downloaded below.
Also coming up is the CUHC Community Advocates Conference on October 30. The conference held in 2009 was well attended and organizers are anticipating a large turnout this year. The conference will offer educational presentations, workshops, and panel discussions to provide advocacy tools to participants with a full day of information, networking, and motivation. The "Save the Date" poster can be downloaded below, and we will post further registration information to the PSAC Prairie Region website as it becomes available.
