2013 United Way Day of Caring - Saskatoon

The 2013 United Way Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday June 19. The Saskatoon Area Council would like to have a team of PSAC members volunteer again this year. In past years we have painted the offices of Services for Seniors and planted a garden for the children at the YWCA daycare.  The Day of Caring allows volunteers to help member agencies of the United Way take on a project that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to tackle.  The Saskatoon and District Labour Council puts on a kick off breakfast in the morning and then the various teams move out to work on their chosen project. It’s a great way to spend your volunteer day.  We have to submit our numbers by April 15. If you would like to participate please contact Jackie Nettleton.
