Winnipeg & Area Human Rights Committee - Notice of Meeting - May 22, 2019

The Winnipeg & Area Human Rights Committee held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, May 7th.  What was especially good to see was the number of new PSAC members who came out to be part of the committee. The newly elected Executive is as follows:

Chair – Jennifer Chieh Ho
Co-Chair – Natalie Richard
Treasurer – Michelle Phaneuf
Secretary – (To be filled at a later date)

We look forward for a very active year, starting with the upcoming Pride Parade where the PSAC will be entering a float.  A separate email from the new Chair will go out in respect to that event, which takes place on Sunday June 2nd.

Later this month, the committee will be holding a meeting to plan the upcoming year, set dates for future meetings and events, and organize the swag we will be giving out at the Parade.  We are always looking for new members, so come on out and share your ideas on what you’d like to see your committee participate in throughout the year. And have a little fun.
