PSAC Winnipeg And Area Human Rights Committee is a group of equity members (Indigenous Peoples, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Racially Visible, and LGBTQ2+) that take action on political, social, economic and workplace issues that effect equity members. This committee mobilizes equity members to participate in the union and take action on issues establishing networks that link equity members to the union and to the community. I would like to acknowledge I live and work in Treaty 1 territory and that the land is the traditional territory of the original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is dedicated to ensuring that the spirit of Reconciliation and Treaty 1 is honoured and respected. PSAC respects the Treaties that were made on these territories, acknowledges the harms and mistakes of the past, and dedicates to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
