Report from December 2011 – February 2012
This period was relatively quiet.
December 2011.
I attended the Seasonal Celebration organized by the Winnipeg Area Council, Human Rights Committee and the Women’s Committee. Member attendance was not encouraging. This may be due to the member’s busy schedule during Christmas time. There is suggestion that such celebration should be move to early January. I continue to talk to our members about the importance of their involvement and participation in the Union.
January 2012.
Agriculture Union had its regional AGM meeting in Winnipeg. I was unable to attend because I was out of the country. Winnipeg Area Council also had the AGM meeting. A delegate – Brother Gus Mardli was selected to represent WAC at the National Convention.
