1. Meeting called to order at 5:40 pm.
2. Review of meeting minutes from February 16th, 2010.
Reviewed minutes of meeting. Joyce (Chair) read minutes.

4. Labour Day Barbeque
Joyce attended meeting for second annual Labour Day Barbeque sponsored by Calgary & District Labour Council (CDLC). It was recommended that we serve ice cream (Dixiecups). However after consultation with the CDLC, a decision was made to serve cookies instead.
Posters for the event are ready for distribution. Dolly will talk to Robyn Benson about making the poster part of the Think Public campaign. Sharing budget for this event will be discussed with the Human Rights Committee and the Area Council. The next 2 meetings for the Labour Day Barbeque will be held on July 22nd at 6pmand August 12 @ 6 pm. Joyce is planning on attending the July meeting and Dolly will attend the August meeting.
5. Sisters in Spirit
This will be discussed at the next meeting in September 2010.
6. Delegate for PSAC National Women’s Conference held October 22-24, 2010
Sylvia will attend on behalf of the Calgary RWC. Joyce may be selected as an alternate as she has applied to attend the convention also.
7. PSAC Regional Women’s Conference September 10-12, 2010
This event will be held in Saskatoonand the deadline to apply is Friday, July 2nd, 2010. Members are encouraged to apply prior to the deadline.
8. Fight Back Campaign – June 23rd, 2010
Unfortunately no one is able to attend this event.
9. Finances
The 2010 Draft Budget was reviewed for the members of the RWC. A brief explanation of the potential future activities was given.
10. Elections
President/Chair Gina King nominated by Joyce seconded by Donna
Joyce Lewis nominated by Sylvia seconded by Donna
Gina and Joyce agreed to co-chair the meetings until September.
Secretary Tammy Sapach nominated by Nicole and seconded by Joyce
Won by acclamation.
Treasurer Nicole Frechette nominated by Tammy and seconded by Joyce
Won by acclamation.
11. Motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 pm. The next meeting will take place on September 28th, 2010.
