Sister Marlene called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.
Agenda:
Attendees reviewed the agenda as distributed by Sister Marlene and added one item (Joint Committee Social Justice Project).
Motion to adopt the agenda as amended.

Previous Meeting Minutes:
Minutes from the November 19, 2008 meeting were not available as the secretary position was vacant at the time. Sister Melissa indicated she took extensive notes during the meeting and agreed to prepare minutes using her notes.
Finances:
Motion to reimburse Brother Satinder for dinner expenses in the amount of $108.07

Sister Melissa reported the bank balance effective March 31 is $2, 640.72.
Motion to accept the report of the treasurer.

Motion to reimburse Locals 40064 and 40229 in the amount of $25.00 each for registration fees paid on behalf of Sister Melissa and Brother Bryan to attend the 2009 Prairie Region Union School.

Sister Melissa indicated she would forward a copy of the annual general meeting minutes with the election of officer summary to Affinity Credit Union and request the prepare the paperwork to complete the changeover of financial signing authorities.
2009-2010 Meeting Dates:
There was a brief discussion related to coordinating meeting dates for the committee on the same dates as the Joint Committee Meetings. Joint Committee meetings are scheduled for June 9, September 8, and November 10 in 2009; and on February 9, 2010. Sister Melissa and Sister Connie indicated the Regional Women’s Committee planned to meet prior to the Joint Committee Meetings; Sister Melissa requested that meetings for the Human Resources Committee take place following the Joint Committee Meeting so that she might participate in both the RWC and HR Committee meetings.
Sister Melissa departed the meeting at 6:30 p.m. due to another commitment.
Social Justice Projects:
Botswana Orphanage
Brother Bryan proposed contributing $500.00 to an orphanage project in Botswana. The funds would support the purchase of a machine which produces clay bricks. After extensive discussion it was agreed to contribute $200.00.
Joint Committee Project
Sister Gress presented a proposal for a social justice project which would be sponsored jointly by all three PSAC committees. Sister Gress requested a contribution of $1,000.00; after discussion it was agreed to contribute $500.00
