Meeting called to order 5:35 p.m.

Motion to adopt 2009 AG Mminutes. M/S/C Matt/ Gerry

2009 Financial Report– Darlene McClure advised of the Opening balance of $2026.36 less expenses and the outstanding items of LOS for WACmembers for 2007 and 2008 is $1130.62 and the WAC2009 Portion of Seasonal Celebration is $157.41. There is a balance left available for 2010 $1859.15.

Motion to adopt 2009 Financial Report M/S/C Darlene/ Kelly

Discussion of proposed 2010 Budget and request $1841 from PSAC.

Motion to adopt 2010 budget and request of $1841 M/S/C Gloria/Kelly

Gerry spoke about the upcoming events and PRC plans for events around pension reform, the federal budget and federal election. WAC determined that the 2010 focus would be: Pension Reform, Federal Budget, Think Public, 2010 Municipal Election, and Habitat for Humanity.

Election of Officers for 2010-2011

Chair – Gloria Kelly nominated by Darlene and seconded by Vimbai, acclaimed

Vice Chair - Matt Tijani nominated by Gerry and seconded by Gloria, acclaimed

Treasurer - Darlene McClure nominated by Matt seconded by Gloria, Vimbai Dune nominated by Darlene and seconded by Kelly, Vimbai declined so Darlene was acclaimed

Secretary – Kelly Pendulak nominated by Vimbai and seconded by Darlene, Vimbai Dune nominated by Kelly and seconded by Darlene, both declined, so the position was left vacant and to be filled at the next meeting

Tracy Thor swore in the new Executive of the Winnipeg Area Council
