School Supply Drive
USGE 50026 (Stony Mountain Penitentiary) donated the most at $405.00. More volunteers are still needed for September 24 Bomber Game to collect school supplies. Volunteers will meet at Chapters across from the stadium at 5:30pm. There are 8 gates to be (wo)manned – Bombers to give us about 5 parking passes for volunteers.

b) Reclaiming Dignity pajama party
Bring a brand new pair of pajamas to Museum on Oct. 2; these PJ’s will be given to women who are in shelters. RWC to buy 2 tickets and 2 pairs of pajamas, M/S Dawn Macauley/ Tina Matias-Bouchard

d) Prairies Regional Women’s Conference Update:
- ‘Say no to Bill C391’ cards were signed and mailed to Nicki Ashton and Jim Maloway, both NDP MPs who are for Bill C391
- 5 of the 14 resolutions submitted to Prairies Women’s Conference will go to the National Women’s Conference. 3 of the 5 resolutions were from Winnipeg’s Regional Women’s Committee, they are: Child Care; Bill C3; Pensions & Women.
