National Aboriginal Day

 

June 21 is National Aboriginal Day. There are various activities and ceremonies happening throughout the Prairies and in Canada.  For instance on June 21, The Forks in Winnipeg has sunrise and sunset ceremonies and well as day long activities and entertainment. 

Visit the Aboriginal Canada Portal for information about events in your community. Your workplaces may also be holding events during the month of June.  We encourage you to participate in one of these events to enjoy Aboriginal culture at its finest.
