- 2018 Budget Finalization
- Brief discussion regarding 2017 books and 2018 budget requests
- Looked at including community events that are related to the PSAC Women’s Committee priorities including:
- Childcare initiative/Labour Day Picnic Support
- Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women/Sisters in Spirit Support
- Domestic Violence Leave/Community outreach projects and workplace plant gate/Human Rights day
- Pay Equity/Community outreach project/workplace plant gates/Person’s day University Federation of Canadian Women Support
- Included more financial support for Medicine Hat events
- Discussed ideas for IWD 2019 to include community event as well as a movie film screening.
- IWD 2018
- Sisters K. Slattery, T. Drawu, K. Dorchak, and K. Munns will purchase some cakes from Safeway to bring into work on March 8th to celebrate International Women’s Day.
- Bring in information related to 10 days of paid leave for victims of domestic violence
- Have important one-on-one conversations about the work the PSAC and PSAC Women’s’ Committees are doing for our members.

- TUB – Lethbridge/Waterton Area March 24-25
- Mini Union School – Lethbridge May 5-6th
- K. Munns will be traveling to Toronto to take part in the National PSAC Triennial Convention April 28 – May 4, 2018.
