1. Welcome to all / Call to Order – Patty Jessome called the meeting to order at 5:35 pm.
2. This Agenda - Adoption: Agenda approved with one addition added for Remembrance Day
3. Adoption of June 20th Meeting Minutes. Approved by consensus.
4. Finance Review: (T/C)
5. Follow up on previous business:
- October events: Women’s History month / National Seniors Day / International Day of the Girl / Person’s Day. Due to cancellation of the Sept. meeting and the date of the October meeting, the committee felt that we didn’t have enough time to organize an event. Committee tabled to 2019.
6. New Business:
- Kindred House: Patty asked that everyone please request funding as soon as possible. Patty will also pick a day to come in and fundraise for the campaign.
- Kindred House: Patty will contact Heather at Kindred House to find out where to purchase underwear .
- Update on Website: Patty reached out to Thomas to discuss website. He has not returned my call as of yet.
- Take Back the Night Event: Ann to send out the Take Back the Night poster to all locals.
- Remembrance Day Wreath: Charmaine to attend the Ceremony and place the wreath on behalf of the Women’s Committee.
7. Roundtable: Anne, Kim and Patty passed.
8. Next meeting date: November 15th, 2018
9. Adjournment: Patty adjourned the meeting at 6:10.
