The Saskatoon & District Area Council has been busy with the PSAC open house in Dec 2019 & their Annual General meeting on January 23rd.
I was unable to attend the open house due to prior commitments but have understood that it was well attended. Many members like the new office and appreciate the downtown location.
I attended the SAC AGM where a new president, vice president and PRC rep were elected. They discussed Phoenix issues, bargaining, and strike prep training, along with many other topics. It was good to see new members at the meeting. I would like to thank Jackie Nettleton for her leadership over the past several years and trust that she will enjoy her upcoming retirement.
