Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 5:05 PM by Glen.

Regrets
            Robyn Benson, Tracy Thor, Jeff Sexton.

Introduction
            Glen thanked everyone for attending and reminded everyone that this was a Special Meeting and items that were not on the agenda could not be discussed.

Agenda
            As Robyn was not present to deliver her presentation we would continue with the elections.

            Not Applicable.

Elections
            Glen read the following from our Bylaws.  “The WMAC shall elect a representative and their alternate to the Prairie Regional Council no later than one month prior to the Prairie Region Triennial Convention. The newly elected PRC Area Council Representative shall be the Area Council delegate to the Prairie Region Triennial Convention and be sworn in and take office at the end of the Prairie Region Triennial Convention. Save and except where the Area Council Representative is re-elected, then the delegate entitlement shall follow Regulation 6 of the PSAC Prairie Region Bylaws.”
            Currently Susan is our representative to the Prairie Region Council (PRC).  Glen opened nominations for the area council rep to the PRC.  Randy Walker nominated Susan to be the new rep to the PRC.  This was seconded by Trudy.  Glen called for nominations a second time.  Glen called for nominations a third time.  Glen asked Susan if she would allow her name to stand.  Susan agreed and was elected by acclamation.
           Glen stated that the next order for business was to elect an alternate for the PRC Rep.  Glen called for nominations for an alternate PRC Rep.  Randy nominated Roy for the position of alternate PRC Area Council Rep.  Susan seconded this.  Glen called for nominations for a second time.  Glen made a third call for nominations.  Glen asked Roy if he would allow his name to stand.  Roy agreed and was elected by acclamation.
            Glen stated that because Susan was attending the Regional Convention as PRC delegate then the Prairie Region By-laws come into effect and we will need to elect another delegate to the convention.
            Glen called for a nomination for a delegate to the next Prairie Region Triennial Convention to be held in Winnipeg June 10-12.  Trudy nominated Roy as the delegate.  This was seconded by Randy.  Glen called a second time for nominations.  Glen called a third time for nominations.  Glen asked Roy if he would allow his name to stand.  Roy agreed and was elected by acclamation.
            Glen stated that the last election that we had to do was to elect an alternate delegate to the next Prairie Region Triennial Convention.  Glen opened for nominations for the alternate delegate to the next Prairie Region Triennial Convention.  Randy nominated Trudy for this position.  Martin seconded the nomination.  Glen made a second call for nominations.  Glen made a third call for nominations.  Glen asked Trudy if she would allow he name to stand.  Trudy agreed and was elected as the alternate delegate.

Next Meeting
            The next meeting was not scheduled, although it was discussed for either the 11th or 18th of May at Riding Mountain National Park.  The availability of members and facilities would be confirmed.

Adjournment
            Susan made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.  The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM by Glen.
