6. UPDATE– PSAC outreach to members
* Gus is still getting e-mails returned saying the address is incorrect, if you know of anyone that is not receiving his e-mails tell them to get in touch with him.
* There is still nothing from the CLC network, evidently Gloria Kelly approached the CLC head at convention to find out what was going on with it, but no word as of yet.

7. NEW – Labour Day Events Sept 1
* Come on out to the walk and picnic on September 1st, details are on the poster that was sent by e-mail a couple of times in the last week or so (and was available at the meeting).
* If you’re planning on attending, flags can be picked up from the PSAC office on Friday afternoon.

8. NEW – Municipal Election October 22nd
* Gus spoke about the suggestion to rent a hall (from last meeting) for a town hall meeting but it appears that it is cost prohibitive (rental, insurance, refreshments, etc)
* The group discussed different methods of reaching people, telephone town hall, simply telephoning members, mail out to members in ridings that are up for grabs (no strong incumbent or candidate), we’ll see if we can’t get a letter made up for next meeting and be able to set a date for a group to come in and stuff the envelopes, etc

9. Social Justice Fund
