1. Call to Order 
     a. 1811 hrs.
 
2. Approval of the Agenda:
     a. Adopted by consensus as presented
 
3. Review and approval of the previous meeting’s agenda 
    a. Minutes adopted as presented by consensus
 
4. Reports: 
    a. Area Council Treasurer report was adopted by consensus
        i. As of February 5, 2014, the book balance: $765.16
 
5. Previous business: 
None
 
6. New business: 
    a. International Women’s Day
        i. Sister Fitzpatrick informed the Council on the actions which the Lethbridge Women’s Committee is doing for International Women’s Day.
        ii. The Lethbridge Women’s Committee is sponsoring a free swimming event for all women of all ages.
        iii. Sister Fitzpatrick move that the Area Council help the Women’s Committee in sponsoring the free swim by providing funding of $300.

    b. Fundraiser for Lethbridge East NDP
        i. Sister Fitzpatrick informed and invited PSAC member of the St. Patrick's Day Celli (Dinner and Dance) on March 15
        ii. The event is for a fundraiser for the Lethbridge East NDP
 
    c. Election of Lethbridge Area Council Rep for the PRC (M/S)
        i. Brother Greg Krokosh (Brother Wilson/Sister Fitzpatrick)
        ii. Brother Krokosh is also the LAC Delegate to the PRC as per Regional By-laws
 
    d. Report from the Regional Office
        i. Brother Hari informed the Council on the PSAC Save the Veterans Affair Offices Campaign
        ii. Brother Hari informed the Council on other PSAC Campaigns and the challenges in providing public services to the public 
        iii. Brother Hari reminded the Council of the Prairie Regional Convention Deadlines
             1. February 12, 2014, for delegates
             2. March 5, 2014 for resolutions
        iv. Calgary Region education schedule was discussed
             1. The highlight of the education for the region is the Prairie Union School.
        v. Highlights of bargaining
             1. CFIA is back at the table February 6
                a. CFIA is trying to blame the Union for the slow progress
             2. CRA has a day of action on February 27
 
    e. February 26 the Anti-Bulling day
        i. Everyone is reminded to wear a pink shirt
