1. Call to Order

2. Approval of the Agenda
i. Agenda is approved by consensus.
3. Review and Approval of Previous Minutes.
i. Minutes we passed by consensus with the correction to Krysty Munns name in the attendance.
4. Reports:
i. Treasurers Report: Treasurer sends his regrets. Cash balance as of Nov. 5 2014 is $2107.73
5. Old Business:
i. Changes to Bank: All Banks are charging about $5/ month. Current Bank is $2.50/month.
ii. Motion: To remove Sister Brea Lewis and add Sister Sherry Hunt (Vice-President) to the bank account signing authority; with 2/3 signatories required for all cheques. M/S Sherry Hunt/Maria Fitzpatrick – carried
iii. Motion: To have the banking statements sent directly to the Calgary Regional Office. M/S Sherry Hunt/Maria Fitzpatrick – carried.
6. Open Forum:
i. Suggestion that we check the calendar for possible 2015 meeting dates and try to set a rough schedule.
ii. Sherry Hunt: Is attending Childcare 2020 in Winnipeg Nov.13-15. Also working with Public Interest Alberta on a press release of the results of a recent survey on childcare quality and access in Alberta.
iii. Ray Wilson: Is recognizing the value of our sick leave due to personal struggles of two of our members in treatment for cancer. Would like to brainstorm ideas on how to get this message out to members and the public. Recognizes that without the benefits we enjoy, serious illness can be financially as well as physically detrimental.

iv. Krysty Munns: “Nifty Knitters” meeting on Dec. 1 for 3rd annual donation drive/drop, is taking the JLP course “Mental Health in The Workplace” as offered at LRC.
7. Next Meeting: Dec. 3 at Sister Pub – “Holiday Social Meeting”
i. Motion: That the Area Council buy dinner at Sisters for the members. M/S Maria Fitzpatrick/Ray Wilson – carried.
