Treasurer's Report:
i. Financial statement presented
ii. Cash in account as of December 3, 2014: $2,219.00
5. Previous business:
a. Brother Krokosh has a meeting with the Bank of Montreal to update the banking information. The LAC address for banking will be the PSAC Regional Office in Calgary. The signing authority will be updated.
6. New business:
a. A motion was presented to pay for Sister White (LAC Delegate) $100 registration fee for the PSAC Triennial. M/S Brother Krokosh/Sister Fitzpatrick – Carried
b. A Motion was presented to spend $700 for the PSAC Food Bank activities and the tomato project. Local 30048 will administer the monies are report back. M/S Sister Hunt/Sister Paterson –Carried
c. A Motion was presented to spend $500 for PSAC role in Lethbridge and District Labour Council Outreach program. M/S Brother Krokosh/Sister Hunt – Carried
d. Sister Benson is coming to Western Canada. There should be six weeks’ notice so the planning for We are Wisconsin can occur. The movie will be screened at the Library.
e. Open Forum
i. Sister Fitzpatrick mention that she running for the NDP candidate in Lethbridge East (provincial)
ii. Brother Hari spoke on what is happening with bargaining and that we can do.
1. Reminded to send any photos of our support for the team to the Regional Office.
iii. Brother Hari mention that the winter education program is coming out soon
f. Sister Paterson mention this Saturday from11am to 1pm it will be day of action for violence against women
