1) Call to Order at 5:40
2) Approval of Agenda – approved via consensus
3) Reports
a) Treasurer: Dani provided an update and will have the bank statement and balance sheet for next meeting
4) Previous Business
a) Women’s Self Defense Course - raised $120 which Daniela deposited into our RWC bank account.
b) The instructors; Kelly and Clay, waved their fee and donated their time and skills. RWC will make a donate $150 on behalf of Kelly and Clay (Half the price of the instructor fees) for a total donation of $270 to Sophia House.
c) Mother’s Day Walk – in support of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women was successful a small group of people attended and the event was covered by the Regina Leader post and got Front-page in the paper May11, 2015. Participants were given roses and dropped the flowers into Wascana Lake at the Albert Street Bride. Michelle made a motion to reimburse $63.21 Sandra for 3 dozen roses; motion was seconded by Daniela.
5) New Business
Idea of participating in a Flash Mob – Michelle suggests we view the Atlantic Regions video of their Flash Mob as an idea. Atlantic Region has said we can copy their event.
6) Next Meeting June 16, 2015 at 5:30 – come with some ideas of events we can participate in for this meeting.
