Minutes from Edmonton Area Council meeting on August 6, 2015
In attendance:

Meeting called to order at 5:45 pm
First topic was the Solidarity BBQ planned for August 19th. We ran through several different set up options. We are planning on 1500 members attending, with no general public allowed due to new Third Party Advertising rules now in effect with the new Fair Elections Act. There will be a banner hung stating that this a members only function.
M&M Meats will supply & cook, supplying meat & buns.
The second topic was about the All candidates debate for the Griesbach targeted riding. It will be Sept 23rd & the hall has a capacity of approx. 200. Coffee & tea will be served. Doors will open at 6 pm with questions starting at 6:30 pm after the candidates have made brief opening remarks.
Ben & Dave will send invites to the four candidates in the riding, they are:
Brian Gold – Lib
Janis Irwin – NDP
Kerry Diotte – PC
Heather Workman – Green
