2. Roundtable Introductions
3. PSAC Statement on Harassment read by Gloria Kelly
4. Adoption of Agenda moved by Gloria, seconded by Darlene, accepted by all
5. Presentation by Alex Paterson (from the Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition, MEJC) on Energy East Pipeline, the Tar Sands and Climate Change
6. Minutes of March 12, 2015 unavailable to be approved
7. President’s Report – Gus
a. 2 of the resolutions that WAC had submitted were returned
8. Treasurer’s Report
a. as of March 31, 2015 bank balance was $4,696.98
b. currently balance is $2,722.68
c. the difference is the cheque to Ndinawe of $1,974.30 for kitchen start-up (from the Social Justice Fund monies, see below)
9. Update - Social Justice Fund Projects for 2015 – Ndinawe
a. Gus and Gloria went, took pictures, it was a great event
10. Update – Political Actions and Proposed Activities
a. Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition (MEJC) proposal to support their “Paddle & Pedal Against Pipelines” on July 4th
i. Gus has a budget proposal which was put to a vote after discussion, Darlene moved to accept the budget, Lorelei seconded the motion, all were in favour
ii. Tania volunteered to be our delegagte
b. Red River Ex Table from June 12 to 21
i. Looking for volunteers, this is the biggest part
ii. Looking to buy the swag for giveaways (Jeffrey will be doing the ordering)
iii. Fee for the table is paid
iv. The Ex’s opening times are 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday to Sunday
v. We get 20 passes with the table, then we by more as needed
vi. Tracy will arrange for the volunteer shift schedule to be sent to all local Presidents to ask for volunteers
vii. We’re going to encourage components to take one whole day
