National Aboriginal Day is Tuesday, June 21st.
On Saturday, June 25th, The PSAC Winnipeg and Area Human Rights Committee will be participating in activities at the Forks to celebrate National Aboriginal Day. The next meeting of the committee will be Tuesday June 21st at 5:15 pm. This is a voluntary meeting where we are asking committee members and volunteers to come out and help plan for a successful event on Saturday, and pick up supplies. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out.
The Committee is also be looking for volunteers to assist on Saturday as well at the Forks. So if you are interested in assisting, and/or unable to attend the meeting on Tuesday, please contact the Chair of the committee James Cooke @ cookej2@mymts.net and let him know of your interest to donate an hour or 2 at the Forks.
