Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition walk beside the First Nations peoples of Manitoba

Please join Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition (MEJC) as we walk beside the First Nations peoples Manitoba.

Tuesday, September 5th at 3:45pm.
4:00 P.M Walk with the Totem from the forks to the Thunder Bird House.
5:00 Speaker Panel at the Thunder Bird House

Purpose: They will be accepting a sacred totem pole from Lummi nation, sponsored by the T’Sleil Watuth nation.  These two west coast communities are fighting the Kinder Morgan Trans-Mountain pipeline, just as communities here are fighting Trans-Canada's Energy East and Enbridge's Line 3.

We are calling on you to join MEJC as we walk beside our Indigenous allies as they accept a sacred totem pole as a symbol of their shared commitment to promoting renewable energy, protecting water, and opposing Tar Sands and pipeline expansion.

Our lands are Scared and we need to protect all Canadians.

Water is life for all of us.
