Opening
The regular meeting of the Regina and Area Human Rights Committee was called to order at 5:35 pm on September 20, 2016 in Regina by Marlene Hoce.

Approval of Minutes
Edit to last meeting minutes: Change Michelle Lane to correct spelling – Michelle Lang

Open Issues:
Planning for December 2016 – Persons with Disabilities Event. December 3, 2016 is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Some ideas that were presented were: supper, speakers, raising money for the abilities council.
Michelle and Dani to contact Regina Qu’appelle Health Region to see about a speaker on Mental Health. Tentative dates will be December 3rd or 10th. Brother Tim Hubick is willing to facilitate part. Another contact maybe Mobile Crisis.
Discussion about Pride Parade and how we can get more involved. 4 members were present for the parade this year, we can enter a vehicle in the parade as well as we can see about setting up a booth at the end of the parade to hand out things.
