The federal government promised that all of the remaining cases of the Phoenix pay system would be resolved by October 31, 2016. Now, we've received confirmation that the October 31 deadline will not be met.
PSAC will hold a National Day of Action on October 31 to remind the government of this promise and to demand that our members who have been affected be fully compensated.
Locals are encouraged to take action by gathering outside of their workplaces on their lunch break for a photo. Use the attached materials to demand the government #FixPhoenix and send us your photos. Please include a caption of who and where the photos were taken.
We are also demanding that the Liberals come with a new bargaining mandate and fulfill their commitment to treat public service workers with respect.
