PRC Update
PRC meeting held on Nov 3rd, 2016 – minutes and financial should be on the
PSAC prairies web site
Attached is the letter from Valerie Illingworth – Northern Geographic Rep
Open House
Thursday, December 8th – Email was sent out by Regional Office to locals with
date & information. Discussion on speaker was held but not decided on.
Resolutions
Three (3) resolutions were brought forward and all were adopted to proceed to
the Prairies Convention in April 2017.
Election for Delegate to Prairies Convention
No representative was elected as all present were attending the Prairies
Convention. Jackie is to check with Regional Office & REVP to see what
the procedure is now
Round Table:
Resolution Writing Course was well received with 12 participants – one down side
was that there was not enough time on the writing of resolutions as there were many new activists present who had not attended any other training and had a lot of questions about the convention itself but overall enjoyed by all
October 31st Day of Action was mostly low key for this area with local executives
passing out information to their members. Well received by members
