The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour will hold its Young Workers’ Conference in Regina, April 28-29, 2017, at the Ramada Hotel. PSAC Prairies will fund up to two Saskatchewan members to attend the conference. If you are interested in attending, please complete the attached expression of interest form by March 28, 2017 and email it to davisa@psac.com.
The SFL Young Workers’ Conference is an opportunity for young trade unionists from across the province to come together to learn about issues affecting workers, develop new skills, and strategize about how to make our unions and labour movement even stronger.
ELIGIBILITY
A PSAC young worker is defined as 35 years and under. If you are a PSAC young worker living in Saskatchewan and member in good standing, you are eligible to attend.
REGISTRATION FEE
The PSAC Prairie Region will cover all costs for up to two members to attend. Those selected to attend are required to submit a written report with their expense claim.
ACCOMMODATION & CHILDCARE
If attendees are traveling from outside of Regina, PSAC will cover accommodations and mileage. The PSAC will reimburse at-home childcare expenses in accordance with the PSAC Family Care Policy. For those with no other option, the SFL will provide childcare for conference attendees.
