Reminders for members attending Convention

With under three weeks to go until the Prairie Region Triennial Convention, delegates and observers are reminded to review the resolutions before arriving at Convention to ensure they are prepared for component caucus meetings and to better equip themselves for Convention debate.

All resolutions, including Convention committee recommendations and rationale, have been posted on the PSAC Prairie Region website. Convention delegates and observers will also receive printed copies in their kits upon registration at Convention.

Please also familiarize yourselves with the Rules of Order, which will have to be adopted on Convention floor but are the standard Rules of Order used by PSAC. The Rules of Order are attached below.

New and first-time delegates and observers are encouraged to participate in the Convention Orientation session, which will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Friday, April 21 in the Lombard Room on the Concourse Level at the Fairmont Winnipeg. Convention will begin following this session at 9:00 a.m.
