It was a quieter period between the last PRC meeting in November 2015 and the upcoming meeting in February 2016.
December 7, 2015 I attended the PSAC Education Planning Session held in Calgary, AB.
I issued the Southern Alberta Geographic Rep newsletter on January 12, 2016 and sent it out to the locals, Area Councils, Human Rights Councils, and Regional Womens’ Committees in my geographic area. I got five responses: three from locals and two from Regional Women’s Committees. The responses were positive and there was a question from Lethbridge’s RWC that was I was able to answer quickly, which made them happy. They are really looking forward to the Regional Womens’ Conference. There is a copy of the newsletter included with this report.
On January 24, I attended the TUB/Grievance Handling course to give a brief presentation on the PRC.
I am sending out an e-mail to the other Geographic Reps with a copy of the newsletter I did and advising them of the positive responses I got.
I participated in the Communications Committee’s conference call on January 26, 2016. I also participated in the National Lobbying Campaign webinar later that same night.
