SOUTH SASK REGINA AREA COUNCIL REP
November 2016 – January 2017
Continued to attend Regina Area council and Regina Human Rights committee meetings to keep members informed, support and also update on the PRC meetings and agenda. Informed local presidents to encourage their members to join our Area Council, Women and Human rights committees and to bring their issues and concerns forward.
November 1st Attended the Regina Area Council AGM and was elected as the Regina Area Council Rep, Tim Hubick was elected as a delegate to the PRC convention in Winnipeg.
January 10th attended the Regina Human Rights meeting and Sandra Ahenakew was elected as a delegate to the PRC convention in Winnipeg.
January 17th met with Alex the PSAC organizer to discuss a strategic plan how to inform, approach and help bring RCMP Civilian members to join the PSAC union, more updates and planning events coming up in the near future.
