Boycott National Public Service Week

In light of the continued failures of Treasury Board to Fix Phoenix, PSAC's National Board of Directors has once again endorsed a boycott of National Public Service Week (NPSW) events, June 11–17, 2017.

The plan is to be visible and inclusive of all members and to send a message to Treasury Board and the government that their efforts are not enough. PSAC Area Councils will be planning alternate events and activities to ensure our voices are heard. Members are also encouraged to organize actions in their workplaces.

We encourage all members to contact their MP to arrange a meeting or discuss their concerns about Phoenix, regardless of their party affiliation. Just this week the Conservative Party launched a petition regarding the Liberal government’s failure with Phoenix, but they were the ones who fired all the compensation advisors and bought the program to begin with.

MP’s will be home the week of May 22-26, so it’s a great time to reach out and book meetings.
