Alternate National Public Service Week Events

Area Councils, Locals and Regional Offices throughout the Prairie Region and across the country are calling the employer on their hypocrisy and standing up to let this government know that we refuse to play nice anymore. Instead of attending the employer-sponsored National Public Service Week events, we’re encouraging locals to hold their own events. Below is a list of the events being held throughout the Prairies.

Edmonton Various locations Thurs. June 15   PSAC members and staff will be delivering popsicles to members at various locations in the "Vansicle"

Tues. June 13 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. It will be a come and go, as lunch hour is varied, but will be pulling out the RCMP civilians.  
Winnipeg Manitoba Legislative Building to Upper FortGarry Provincial Park (at the corner of Main and Broadway) Wed. June 14 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. BBQ lunch and rally at the park after the march. If there are any questions, you can contact Clint Wirth at the Winnipeg RO.
