- Agenda adopted by council.
- 2016 budget draft was presented by Ben Lemon to discuss and create. EAC is looking for any further ideas to promote for a working budget for 2016. Ideas that correlate to political action in Alberta & Edmonton. Murray Pruden provided a draft budget for EAC to host a breakfast for Edmonton members Solidarity Breakfast at the Kids in The Hall location at city hall. There needs to be a change in the format for budget when submitted to PSAC Prairie region Ben & Kim. Deadline for budgets to be submitted to PSAC for approval is March 15, 2015. Books are needed to be audited as part of budget submission. Dave & Dragana 'were nominated to be candidates for the task.
- Lobby Teams: Northern Alberta has 18 ridings. We will have to look at highlighted names from membership as to who may be good candidates for lobbying participants. There will be training for the lobbying Feb 23 & 25 at 5:30pm in the Edmonton PSAC office. Note, PRC reps are automatic members of lobbying teams. Between Feb 29 to March 4, 2016 all MPs will be in their home ridings, PSAC is asking members of lobbying teams are to have a set meeting with said MPs in their home riding to lobby them on topics of fair bargaining, proper public services, etc. Loss of salary may be required and PSAC will pay for said loss. It has been determined that we will need 54 people to act as lobbyist in Northern Alberta. More to the lobbying campaign will follow from PSAC.
