Re: Regional Hardship Committee
Please consider this as the official input call for members to sit on the above noted committee. This Committee will be comprised of three representatives. If you or a member of your Local are interested in being a part of this Committee please send your name, Local and contact number to my office by July 31, 2017.
The role of the Regional Hardship Committee will be to review and respond to individual hardship fund requests that are referred to us. Attached below please find the guidelines established for the National/Regional Hardship Committee. As you are aware the Hardship Fund is intended to ensure that our members do not experience any undue hardship in the case of a strike.
This Hardship Committee is being established for the striking members of UCTE Local 50600 at the Winnipeg Airport.
