Triennial Resolutions
2 were presented – after much discussion 1 was voted on as being agreeable to forward onto the PSAC Triennial Convention – as per attached
Labour Day BBQ
Monday, Sept 4th, 2017 – Victoria park in Riversdale – Volunteers to be there by 10am – BBQ at 1130
UNDE Convention
Sr June Winger President elected – Br Philippe Turcq Executive Vice-President
CLC president attended – was questioned on why the CLC has allowed other unions to cross the picket lines in Winnipeg - stated that this will be discussed at their next meeting
PSAC President – Sr Robyn Benson attended – was questioned about a day of action – she stated that the members need to write their MP’s, protest at their MP’s on payday Wednesday’s and continue to support the members that have been affected by the Phoenix pay system
UNDE marched at Esquimalt and were featured in the CHEK news along with 3 members telling their stories about how they have been affected by Phoenix

TRANSGENDER PARTICIPATION AT RWC’S

BECAUSE transgender people face unique challenges; and
BECAUSE being LGBTQ inclusive means understanding and welcoming the Transgender Community;
THE PSAC WILL ensure that all members who self identify as a woman are welcomed to the Regional Women’s Committees.
