Nominate a deserving member for the Prairie Voice Award

To: All Locals, Branches, Component National Officers, Prairie Region Council, Area Councils, Regional Women’s Committees, Human Rights Committees, Regional Aboriginal Peoples’ Circles

Please find attached below the guidelines and nomination form for the Prairie Voice Award. This award is presented to members who have provided exemplary service or have been role models and mentors for our members. The objective is to recognize PSAC members for their commitment to the labour movement and work that benefits PSAC members in the Prairie Region.

The successful nominees will be presented with their awards at the 6th Triennial Convention of the PSAC Prairie Region, held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, June 27-29, 2014. Members do not need to be delegates at Convention to be eligible for an award. For those members not in attendance at Convention, their awards will be presented at their respective Annual General Meetings.

If you are aware of someone who fits the criteria and wish to nominate them for this award, please return the nomination form attached to my office no later than Wednesday, May 28, 2014.
