Phoenix Pay System

The rally yesterday in Lethbridge was very well attended by approximately 40-50 people. Even the wind was on our side making sure the flags from AGR, CIU, UTE, PSAC, CUPW and many other of our allies flew high! We also had some PIPSC, students and APSAR members attend. The local news stations were filming and interviewed Prairies REVP Marianne Hladun, Krysty Munns as well as a few of our members. Our members are Here For Canada! Media stories:

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is launching a national television ad campaign to highlight the dedication of public service workers throughout the Phoenix pay system disaster, which has now been going on for two and a half years.

Federal public service workers suffering from Phoenix are finally receiving better service now that the contracted-out call centre has transitioned to one fully staffed by federal public service employees.
